Between strategy, role-playing games and action adventures there will be fun

Finally in these days we have learned through an official press release the PSP titles coming out in Spring 2011 in Europe, by Square-Enix.

It starts with Lord Of Arcana, action to be released in February 2011 that will see us move within a fantasy universe in search of the mysterious power of Arcana, with the possibility of facing the adventure in the company of up to three friends. On the occasion of the announcement, we are also presented with the special Lord Of Arcana Slayer Edition, collector's edition characterized by a cardboard box containing the game, a disc with the soundtrack and a 44-page artbook full of illustrations.

The second game scheduled for next Spring is instead Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together, a sort of PSP remake of the famous strategic role-playing game of the same name.

It will then be the turn of Dissidia Duodecim: Final Fantasy, sequel to the PSP exclusive fighting game that will see the addition of a new story, new characters and many other extras compared to the first chapter.

And finally it will arrive on the European market Parasite Eve: The 3rd Birthday, spin-off chapter of the action-RPG series that will see the return of the splendid Aya Brea against the fearsome threat of the Twisted, fearsome creatures whose goal is to destroy the world.

Square Enix presents all the news coming to PSP in 2011

Square Enix Ltd., publisher of SQUARE ENIX® interactive entertainment products in Europe and other PAL standard countries, today announced new titles for the PSP ™ (PlayStation®Portable) system in spring 2011.

LORD of ARCANA®, a brand new action game, is the first title in the series. Coming in February, LORD of ARCANA will open the doors to the underworld for you, forcing you to battle against legendary creatures to gain the power of Arcana. Play with friends (three at most) to defeat hordes of demonic monsters, using the mysterious items and amazing abilities scattered along your path.

LORD of ARCANA will be released in the exclusive Exterminator Edition. Sold in a special blood red box, this collector's edition includes a 44-page illustrated volume and a mini CD with the game's soundtrack.

TACTICS OGRE ™: Let Us Cling Together ™, a reimagined version of the classic strategy game for the PSP ™ system, is scheduled shortly after LORD of ARCANA. Some members of the original development team, including Hiroshi Minagawa (Director), Yasumi Matsuno (Game Design & Scenario), Akihiko Yoshida, Tsubasa Masao (Character Design), Hitoshi Sakimoto and Masaharu Iwata (Music), have decided to take back this historic RPG and give fans a completely updated version.

Thanks to revamped graphics and sound effects, a rearranged soundtrack by the original composers, a new character level up system and the brand new wheel of fortune to retrace key events in the game, TACTICS OGRE ™: Let Us Cling Together ™ is a become another classic of its kind.

DISSIDIA® 012 [duodecim] TM FINAL FANTASY®, the highly anticipated sequel to DISSIDIA FINAL FANTASY, offers an innovative mix of fighting and role-playing games in which to find the most beloved characters of the FINAL FANTASY series.
