OLED, the technology that promises to supplant, sooner or later, the LCD one, has, since 2013, been the exclusive domain of LG, which was the first to launch its range of TVs equipped with Organic Led technology on the home cinema market. The difference from traditional LCDs is that OLED doesn't need backlighting, as the organic material of which the diodes are made is capable of producing its own light; this allows for much thinner and even foldable and rollable displays that require less energy to operate. Another big advantage of OLED technology is that the reproduction of black can be carried out simply by “switching off” the single diode, producing a pure black difficult to replicate by any other LCD or PLASMA TV. At the IFA in Berlin, almost as if to underline its supremacy, LG has expanded the range of OLED TVs with four new models, designed to guarantee an exceptional viewing experience. In particular, the new models Ultra HD 55 / 65EG960V, 65EF950V e 55EG920V they are equipped with HDR a new technology that promises to revolutionize the visual quality of our TVs in the coming years. HDR, initially developed by Dolby and subsequently perfected by other manufacturers, promises to offer a contrast never so high, unimaginable until a few years ago. Contrasts and high brightness also contribute to making the colors even more vivid and realistic, generating an unparalleled image.

Below are some images of the new OLED range presented at the IFA and, in the attached press release, all the information on the other interesting products presented, including the very luxurious LG Watch Urbane Luxe A 23-karat gold and crocodile strap version of the latest LG smartwatch.
