The social network Facebook offers users an additional service to protect their profile from external manipulation. As soon as someone accesses our profile with a device, be it PC or smartphone, other than the usual one, we can receive a notification message via email. The notification can be activated easily, just click on the top right arrow next to Home and select from the pop-up menu Settings Account.
In the window General account settings, click on the link Protection left and then up Login notifications. Here we can choose by mouse click if we want to receive a notification message on the mobile phone or at the e-mail address.
We advise you to set the receipt of notifications on your e-mail box, thus avoiding providing Facebook with your phone number. The notification email is also sent when we ourselves access our profile from another device that we had never used before.
