People Can Fly, the developer studio of Outriders, has explained in a post on Reddit how it intends to solve the aftereffects of the inventory problem, which had led many players to having your equipment wiped out due to an insidious bug (as of today, solved).
The post reads, verbatim: “Items awarded in compensation will have the same combinations of characteristics, but maximized values. This means that these objects will surely be at least equivalent, if not superior, to those lost with the bug. The items will be awarded to the character with the highest level of equipment available, calculated based on the World Level and the challenge levels “.
In essence, those who have lost a good weapon while at World Level 3 will find that same weapon, but with updated characteristics to the World Level they are now at. The characteristics and modifiers will be similar, but with increased values. The studio had indeed promised that it would return the inventory to all affected players and he had also specified that the characteristics of the objects would undergo changes. Apparently, in a very beneficial way.
In rest of the post it is specified how People Can Fly will intend to proceed with this restitution, starting from how the players to be returned will be grouped together. Priority will go to those who "most need urgent resolution".
People Can Fly has not yet specified when the refund will take place, but it is to be expected that it will be very soon.
Outriders and the inventory bug
Previously the study he had already tried to fix the inventory bug. The first attempts, however, had yielded little results, even involving players who had not had it in the problem. Later, with patch 1.05, the problem has been solved and now it's just a matter of "putting the pieces back together". Hopefully, with this move, the developers of Outriders can finally put a stone on this unfortunate incident.
