Mafia: Definitive Edition announced the new release date

Postponed by about a month due to COVID

Mafia Definitive Edition, has been defined by everyone as "a Remake that we cannot refuse" and indeed many of those who have already experienced the atmosphere of the original title can't wait to return to breathe the air of bullets that has always characterized the City of Lost heaven.

In fact, after having tried the remastered of the second chapter, it's time to relive the daring adventures of Thomas “Tommy” Angelo, a simple taxi driver, who during the Years' 30 climbs the ranks of the mafia family headed by Don Salieri. It will be a joy to relive those moments thanks to the technological power of today's consoles.

Unfortunately, however, the release date was postponed due to the Coronavirus, forcing the development house to release the game from next September 25th. 2K Games stated “Mafia: Definitive Edition, originally slated for 28 of August, will be available worldwide starting in 25 Settembre cause COVID-19. From the start, this has been a passion-driven project for us, in which our developers helped create an updated experience worthy of that timeless classic we all know. We appreciate your patience, we are working to make Mafia: Definitive Edition the best it can be for all our fans around the world ”.

In any case, the development team has talked about a new gameplay video of the title, which will be released on 22 July. In case you have memory problems, like myself, the teaser below will remind you without a doubt. In the meantime, for more information on the game, keep following the game's official Twitter page.
