Use your PC as a wireless router

    You don't have a wireless router or the signal in some rooms of your home is too weak? For those who do not know it is possible use your PC as a wireless router, you just need to connect the router to the PC with a network cable and use the latter as hotspot. If you don't know how to use your PC as a wireless router, read below and follow the instructions.

    Click on Start> Programs> Accessories> Command Prompt. Before opening it, right-click on Command Prompt and select Run as administrator.



    Use your PC as a wireless router

    In the command window, type: netsh wlan setart hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=Nomerete key=Password. Replace "Nomerete" with any name and "Password" with a password of your choice.

    After pressing the key Enter, type netsh wlan start hostednetwork. Confirm with Enter to start the WLAN. If you have any problems, start the Control Panel and go to Networks and Internet> network and sharing center, then click Modify impostazioni scheda, with the right mouse button on the new connection choose, Properties> Sharing> Allow other users to connect via this computer's internet connection.



    To end the link in the command prompt, type: netsh wlan stop hostednetwork.

    Now your friends will be able to connect to the Internet via your computer's network.
