Pokémon Sword and Shield, here's how to clone Pokémon

Some players have discovered the beloved glitch

If you are a longtime fan of Pokemon, you will surely have purchased Pokemon Sword and Shield, the last two videogame iterations released on November 15th (click here to read our good Cristian's review).

You will then fondly remember the possibility of cloning your Pokemon through a glitch / bug that has never gone out of fashion. Well, even Sword and Shield will offer you the opportunity to clone your little friends, thanks to the mechanics offered by the Raid Dynamax.

To take advantage of this method it is necessary to have two copies of the games (with two real players it would be the maximum) and to have access to the Wilds.

Follow these steps and you can clone all the Pokémon you want in Sword and Shield:

  1. Save the game and start a Raid Dynamax (player 1), player 2 will have to join the raid;
  2. Defeat both the Pokémon, but have Player 2 catch it;
  3. Player 1 will not have to capture the monster, but to force the closure of the title by exiting the menu;
  4. Once you restart the game, you will find yourself out of the Raid in question, but with the same still active;
  5. Repeat steps 1 to 4 to get as many copies of the Pokémon as you want;
  6. To close the circle, player 1 just needs to catch the Pokemon instead of forcing the game to close.

We are sure that this little guide will help all coaches who want to conquer the lands of Galar.
