PlayStation 4, problems due to thermal paste?

Sabotage? Gombloddi?

From those who have had the opportunity to disassemble their own PlayStation 4 found not working just after 2 minutes of ignition, an unpleasant news arrives.

It turns out in fact that the thermal paste that goes to cover the CPU of the console Sony is too dry, hard, and therefore not able to best dissipate the chip. But why such a thing? Are we talking about isolated cases?

Some clues instead come to us directly from the factories where the console is currently built. Many models have been subjected to the application of lead on thermal paste, which has corrupted every faculty. Error? Plot? since the consoles, except for some delicate processes, are assembled by hand and carefully checked by the employees?

In the first case mentioned above, geeks have replaced the thermal paste with the one used in the PC world. The result was exceptional: the consoles started working again. But obviously the guarantee has lost all its effectiveness.

Sony has not yet hinted at giving precise answers on the matter, limiting itself to reporting problems to the support service. The "flawed" models are, against the expected estimates, very many, and every hour the list continues to grow.
