Cellularline Blink Bluetooth in-ear headphones review

Aarkstore, well-known brand in telephony sector, continues to expand its business through new and interesting products. Among these we find the Blink Bluetooth in-ear headphones which we have had the opportunity to try over the past few weeks. Unfortunately, not as we would have liked (due to the persistent red zone for almost two months now here in Campania) but all in all we managed to get a more than clear idea of the device in question.

Sales package

La package of sale is quite minimal, simple cardboard box with a plastic tray inside that houses the two earphones and the charging case. There are also some spare rubbers (we found three and we don't know if it is a choice of the manufacturer or an error in the packaging phase) and the charging cable, listen, micro usb. In 2021 it is still possible to find devices with such an outdated standard.

Comfort and build quality

The quality of the compass is decent, remember that they are always headphones of 39,95 €, a little cheap plastic that gives us the impression that the first fall can be badly damaged. Inside we can insert the two earphones. A magnetic clip is ready to hook them firmly to prevent accidental dropping of the headphones.

The earphones are small and really weigh a trifle. They are equipped with a battery from 45 mAh while that of the case is 300 mAh. They are easily activated by pulling them out of the housing and even after prolonged use, they do not cause any discomfort. The only sore point is when we have to activate the controls as they do not have a touch button but rather a physical one. For this reason it is necessary, before pressing one of the multifunction buttons, to extract them slightly from the ear, thus avoiding getting hurt.

Present the Bluetooth 5.0, which makes the choice of the micro usb connector and the support for the following even more inexplicable profiles: A2DP v1.3, AVRCP V1.6, HFP v1.7, HID v1.1, AVCTP v1.4, AVDTP v1.3 and SPP v1.2. There flow and of 10 meters with total play time of 14 hours e the earphones can be charged up to 3 times through the case. They are available in two colors: black and white.

Audio and in-call performance

Well don't expect top-of-the-range performance, quite the opposite. The sound isn't that bad but it's certainly not great. They are extremely oriented towards the lows to the detriment, in different situations, of the highs and above all of the mids. This choice is more than good (as long as you are not audiophiles) for rock, hard rock, metal music pieces; a little less well for the remaining sound genres which turn out to be slightly dull and squashed. The basic volume of the headphones is not the maximum, which forces you to significantly raise the same directly from the smartphone with the risk of having some slight distortion.

With regard to performance on call, you can hear the interlocutor well. Our voice is transmitted with a slight metallic background effect which, however, does not particularly affect the overall performance. Excellent functionality Double Master Function, which allows you to extract, answer with the answer key and start the conversation with both the right and left earphones.

On the other hand, the acoustic insulation is discreet, as long as you are able to place the two earphones well in your ears. Let's say discreet because, although it manages to isolate from external noises, it gave us the impression of being too alienating (a bit as if we were in a sort of round aquarium).

Some sporadic disconnections even with smartphones very close to the earphones.

Final comment

- Blink Bluetooth in-ear headphones di Aarkstore they did not surprise us but they are not to be thrown away either. Maybe the price is a bit high for what they offer and you can find better things around (such as the Creative Outlier Air V2), but in the end they are well suited for different needs. Especially for those who want to listen to music without great demands and for those who need to have their hands free during phone calls. Not bad is the performance of the Double Master Function which allows you to immediately answer the incoming call by removing the headphones from the cup. You can buy the product on Amazon.
