The first Nokia tablet: the Lumia 2520

    After many rumors Nokia, acquired about two months ago by Microsoft, it presented its first tablet with 8.1 Windows RT: Lumia 2520. Featuring a colorful design, this mobile device is equipped with a display from 10.1 inches Full HD with glass Coming Gorilla Glass 2 antigraffio.

    The hardware includes a processor Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 2,2 GHz, 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB internal memory expandable with microSD, plus 7 GB of free space made available on the cloud by SkyDrive.



    Compared to the Surface 2, it offers more complete connectivity with WI-FI 802.11 a / b / g / n, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, LTE module, USB 3.0 and HDMI.

    From a multimedia point of view, it has a 6,7 megapixel rear camera with ZEISS optics and f / 1.9 aperture, while the front one has a 2 Megapixel sensor with f / 24 aperture. The battery life can be extended thanks to the optional keyboard cover capable of providing another 5 hours.

    Magnetometer, A-GPS and A-Glonass are the sensors made available to the software, while here Maps collects the experience and the mapped contents of the group.

    As for portability the Lumia 2520 has one 8,9 mm thick and weighs only 615 grams.

    The advantage of this tablet is the Nokia Power Keyboard: a protective cover, at a cost of $ 149, which includes a functional keyboard with natural typing as if it were a laptop.



    Among the applications present: in addition to the package Office we find, Internet Explorer 11, Nokia Video Director (mobile editing of recorded movies), Instagram, Nokia music (for music content), Xbox Live (for access to video games) and many other very interesting applications.

    The price of the first tablet of the Finnish company, the Lumia 2520, not yet available (it will arrive in early 2014), should be around 499€.
