London, 23 October 2020. Today The Pokémon Company Internationathe Nintendo have announced the release of The snowy lands of the crown, the second set of downloadable content for the blockbuster video games Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield.
The Pokémon Sword Expansion Pass and the Pokémon Shield Expansion Pass are available for purchase on Nintendo eShop. In Crown's Snow Lands, players will explore a vast expanse covered in a shimmering blanket of snow where people live in small, mutually supportive communities.
At the beginning of the adventure, a man named Peony will appoint the Chief Trainer of his exploration team and instruct him to investigate the most remote areas of this vast frozen wasteland, to the deepest recesses of a Pokémon lair. While exploring the Snow Lands of the Crown or during Dynamax Adventures, players will be able to find and capture Legendary Pokémon.

Wings of Twilight, "Gathering Stars"
The Pokémon Company has also announced another surprise for fans: in November, a special episode of the animated miniseries Pokémon Twilight Wings will be released.
