Samsung 870 EVO is equipped with the latest technologies in terms of controller and V-NAND flash, which allow it to reach the maximum SATA sequential read and write speed of 560 and 530 MB / s respectively. Using a large variable SLC buffer, Intelligent TurboWrite technology helps maintain peak performance levels. The 870 EVO also offers a 38% improvement in random read speed over the previous 860 model, improving the user experience in multi-tasking situations such as browsing the web or simply booting up a PC.
Leveraging the experience and expertise gained in storage technologies, Samsung designs all the components of the SSD in-house, to make sure that every element works at its best. As a result, the 870 EVO offers an approximately 30% improvement over the sustained performance of the 860 EVO, plus a five-year or 2400 TBW warranty for the 4TB model, making it class-leading.
Total compatibility
In addition to exceptional and reliable performance, the 870 EVO offers broad compatibility with various devices and the latest PC features. The drive can be used with all devices that have a 2,5-inch SATA connection interface. Furthermore, thanks to the power saving mode, the 870 EVO is compatible with devices that support the Windows Modern Standby function, guaranteeing greater energy savings for users.
