For advanced protection, the P210 is equipped with a built-in thermal sensor to protect the drive from hazardous thermal issues, overheating, and fully supports SMART (Self-Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting Technology) - SSD health information monitoring that can detect and report on drive reliability and foresee any potential hardware issues. The P210 also supports the TRIM command that enables the system to know which data blocks are no longer in use to improve SSD life.
