Smartphone configuration

Find out how to set up your smartphone to make the most of your Kena SIM!

Your smartphone will configure itself automatically as soon as the Kena SIM is activated on the network: it will be enough accept the auto-configuring message that you will receive when you first turn it on.
In case your device does not receive the self-configuring message you can proceed manually by following the simple instructions below, for the iOS and Android operating systems.

How to configure your smartphone to surf the internet with iOS system (iPhone/iPad)

1. SET PHONE NETWORK
   Enter SETTINGS, select CELLULAR, then CELLULAR DATA OPTIONS and ENABLE 4G voice and data
2. CONFIGURE YOUR PHONE'S APN
   Go to SETTINGS, select MOBILE then MOBILE DATA NETWORK. In MOBILE DETAILS, under APN enter “web.Soultricks.com”
3. ACTIVATE THE DATA CONNECTION
   Access the SETTINGS, select MOBILE and activate the MOBILE DATA item by scrolling on the gray button.

How to configure your smartphone to surf the internet with Android system

1. SET PHONE NETWORK
   Access the SETTINGS, select CONNECTIONS and then MOBILE NETWORKS, then NETWORK MODE and finally make sure that the 4G NETWORK is set (automatic connection)
2. CONFIGURE YOUR PHONE'S APN
   • Access SETTINGS then CONNECTIONS, select MOBILE NETWORKS then PROFILES
   • Click ADD at the top right
   • on the CHANGE ACCESS POINT screen under NAME enter e.g. “Soultricks web”
   • under APN enter web.Soultricks.com
   • APN TYPE, write default
   • remember to save the configuration and choose this APN as default
3. ACTIVATE THE DATA CONNECTION
   In SETTINGS select CONNECTIONS then DATA USE finally enable DATA CONNECTION.

You may need to restart your phone after setup is complete.

Remember: Data roaming abroad is disabled by default on Kena SIMs, if you want to activate or deactivate it, call 181 or send an SMS with the text DATI ON or DATI OFF to the number +393505999990.
