Samsung presents Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus: Release, Price and Features

Edges to the bone, home button absent and pressure sensor hidden under the glass, these are just some of the new features present in the Samsung Galaxy S8, the new top of the range of the Korean company, announced in London and New York in the Samsung Unpacked event, Wednesday 29 March 2017.

The two versions Samsung Galaxy S8 e Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus they differ in size, display and battery. Both have a borderless screen in common, are water and dust resistant with IP68 certification and dual-sense camera equipment.

The two models will be available in Spain on 28th April, in different colors: black, gray, purple, silver and blue. The price of the Samsung Galaxy S8 is 829 €, while that of the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus's 929 €.

The 5,8-inch WQHD screen for the S8 and 6,2-inch for the S8 Plus consists of the Infinity Display (two very thin bezels) which also contains the Home button with a resolution of 2960 x 1440 and a shape of 18,5, 9: 835 (slight curvature).
