Microsoft Xbox CFO Tim Stuart, with a recent statement, indicated that the future titles of Bethesda Softworks they will likely arrive on Xbox platforms sooner than others or be better than other versions.


The statement comes a few months later the acquisition of $ 7,5 billion of the Bethesda company.

Since the September announcement, both Microsoft and Bethesda had not been out of balance as to which aspects would be affected by this acquisition.


Most of the questions and speculations revolved around how the exclusivity and releases of the new games would be handled.

During the conference, Stuart stated that the development of games within Bethesda, on Microsoft-owned platforms, will be either better than the others, or will involve a temporal exclusivity.

All of this could mean that we will see better optimization and more features if not just timed exclusivity for future titles within the Xbox and PC versions.

Microsoft also said that the next titles of the other studies, like Deathloop by Arkane e Ghostwire: Tokyo by Tango Gameworks, will remain temporal exclusives for Sony consoles until included in the MS property package.


With these new statements, MS will be giving more moderation time exclusives to Sony and other platforms outside of Xbox and PC as they strengthen the quantity and quality of content on Game Pass.


Exclusives are a topic that has always accompanied the appreciation of a particular platform. From this point of view, Microsoft had given way to Sony in recent years, almost without arguing.

However, these latest important acquisitions could greatly change the current landscape, making Microsoft recover the lost ground and delivering more platforms with quality exclusives to us gamers.
