Le treasure maps are a type of artifact. You can keep track of the treasure maps that you have in the inventory bag in the relevant menu. After collecting a map, you will get a clue (a note or a drawing) about the treasure. Most of the treasures are located in the same region where you found the map. They are obviously secret and the treasure map will point out their exact location. Once a treasure is found, the clue will disappear from the inventory bag. Finding a treasure rewards you with a custom lifeboat mod.

When you get to the location of this mystery, you should see a series of tree structures. Go to the one where the Mystery marker is and interact with the child. It asks for a password. Choose Raven and then talk to the girl. Choose any dialogue option and purchase it. Repeat the process for all purchasable options. One of the items you receive will be a treasure map.
