Conference E3 2018: dates, times, games and news

Are you preparing for E3 2018? Here's a rundown of everything you need to know about the video game conference!

E3 2018 is almost here. The Electronic Entertainment Expo may have started as an industry fair, but it has turned into a complete show. Gaming companies from around the world converge on Los Angeles in June for a week filled with exclusive announcements, incredible updates and celebrations regarding the gaming industry at large. There is nothing else like E3 in the world of video games and the figures from this year's event are among the best.

This year's conferences will begin on Sunday 10 June and will be held on Tuesday 12 June. The exhibition floor will be open from Tuesday 12 June and will last until Thursday 14 June. As always, the event will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center and the surrounding area. Some studios, such as Sony, have also chosen to hold their lectures away from the main stage of the show.

Between Microsoft making aggressive moves to get back into the console race, Sony loading up on exclusive titles, and Nintendo continuing to shock the world with its success and innovations, major gaming studios are likely to participate in E3 2018 - or , in Nintendo's case, they'll release an E3-themed direct video - and try to steal the show. Competing with them are a number of big publishers - Bethesda, Ubisoft and Electronics Arts - that have recently stolen the show from E3's biggest hosts.

You can expect more and more information regarding this E3 2018 that will leak in the days and weeks to come, but, for now, here's everything we know about the biggest game show of the year.

Dates, times and what to watch.

While E3 2018 will be open to the public, it appears that tickets for the show are selling out again rather quickly. Unless you qualify for a media subscription - which you can double-check here - you'll have to make do with watching the show from home.

As for the vision, it can be expected that there are many ways to keep up with all the action. All major E3 conferences should be streamed via Twitch and other popular streaming platforms. As for Nintendo, they will be releasing a special E3 video on Nintendo Direct as they have done in recent years.

We'll be sure to provide you with all the links you need to watch the major E3 2018 conferences when more information about them becomes available.
